Emission compliant operations

As a standalone solution and when solely recharged by renewable sources, these energy storage systems as expected, will meet emission norms during operation. But in addition to this, when these battery packs are in combination with any other fossil energy source, they are capable of reducing CO2 emissions proportionally to fuel savings, depending on the application or load profile.

Flexible and Scalable

You can synchronize up to 16 ZBCs (=<500 kVA) working in parallel and up to 8, ZBC 1000-1200 units (>1000 kVA). The ZBC enables the existence of a microgrid in the most efficient way, mainly when the different sources available are renewable options.

Energy Savings

In standalone operation, or in a hybrid solution with the grid and/or renewables, there is no fuel consumption from the unit on site. In a hybrid solution with power generators, these units can reduce the daily fuel consumption by up to 90%.

ZBC, Container range Energy Storage Systems with smart paralleling capabilities

The ZBC range of battery energy storage systems come in 10 feet and 20 feet high cube containers. These containers are designed to meet the requirements for off and on-grid applications and are ideal in combination with renewable stations. Through paralleling, we can provide up to 8MWh of power output with a total energy capacity of more than 9MWh. ZBC models can operate as a standalone solution, in hybrid mode with several sources of energy and as the heart of a microgrid. These container energy storage systems are ideal for demanding applications where other sources might be inefficient or unpredictable. All this is possible making operations easy thanks to our ECO Controller as the brain of our ZBC battery packs.


Features and Benefits

These container energy storage systems are scalable, as multiple units can be connected in parallel. Moreover, when operating in hybrid mode with a diesel generator, users can reduce daily fuel consumption significantly depending on the application. As stand-alone container battery energy storage systems, these units meet CO2 emission site norms during their operation. This scenario is also common for microgrids with a backup generator, in which the energy storage system is managing the input coming from the grid and/or renewable sources of energy like solar power.


If the solution features an active diesel-driven generator, operators will still enjoy substantial energy savings, increasing the productivity of their core business by up to 50%. When coupled with a power generator, energy storage systems account for low loads, reducing the generator running hours by up to 70%. This translates into a longer generator lifetime of five to ten years.

The ZBC 1000-1200, the game changer in battery energy storage systems

1 MW of power packed into a compact container, the ZBC 1000-1200 is the largest battery pack in our container range of energy storage systems. It demonstrates plug and play capabilities and are quick to install and connect, ready for use, saving time, manpower, and costs.

This container is built to perform at higher altitudes and in extreme conditions, from -20°C to +50°C. It is designed with temperature control in battery compartment and fire suppression for safe operations.

With 1 MW power output and 1.2 MW energy capacity, the ZBC 1000-1200 is designed with an improved LFP battery management system and trusted Lithium-Ion Phosphate battery technology for a long operating life.



Applications

Delivering less than 54 dB(A), these energy storage system containers are suitable for noise-sensitive environments, such as events and construction sites in metropolitan areas, as well as for telecom, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas and rental applications.

They are ideal for applications with a high energy demand and variable load profiles, as they efficiently cover both low loads and peaks. For example, they can properly size cranes and other electric motors and successfully manage peaks in energy demand for noise-sensitive events and for electric vehicles (EV) recharging stations.

Working off-grid or to boost the grid, standalone or in a hybrid solution, in parallel with other energy storage systems or as the central piece of a microgrid, they provide resilient and reliable energy on demand - helping you lower emissions, meet regulations and cut costs through a seamless integration with low emission innovations.
