Membrane Nitrogen Gas Generators use high-temperature compressed air from an oil-free compressor directly into the regeneration tower to desorb moisture. After cooling in a cooler, liquid water is separated. The wet compressed air then enters the drying tower containing the adsorbent medium, reaching its final dew point at the tower outlet. The adsorbent has only limited adsorption capacity before drying or regeneration.
XD or X compression heat adsorption dryers use high-quality adsorbents and efficiently utilize the heat of compression from the oil-free compressor to regenerate the adsorbent, significantly reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.
Furthermore, XD or X compression heat dryers are truly zero-air-consumption dryers, consuming no energy or only a portion of compressed air during the cold-blowing phase.
